It may do you a small measure of good Fish to examine the concept of anti-intellectualism and see whether or not you fit into that framework. The anti-intellectual movement was popular in 50's America and sparked the cultural revolution of the 60's. Conversely, the anti-intellectual movement in Cambodia resulted in the death of millions.
As for confrontational attitudes I dare say that as your obvious senior in terms of years and experience, I've seen far more than the likes of you could possibly imagine. Beyond that, any further confrontation that you can send my way is without a doubt not worth the time or effort a response would take.
