Simplification of the English language is a good thing. I like color and neighbor. I would certainly like to see the "gh" gone from neighbor. What is the point of constantly reiterating our heart links and mind links to the Renaissance or to the Victorian era when we can live fully in the present decade while preparing the next one for our children?
