Anybody knows the trick to get the UK version of the BBC while abroad? I open bbc.co.uk, but it keeps reverting to bbc.com.
Not exactly but I do know this. When searching for BBC lesson plans, I used to front my browser with Baidu/make that 'home page' I don't know why it worked but baidu it seemed was able to access and open a lot of sites. It's worth mentioning that on my machines, Windows, produced didly-squat but Linux (with baidu sometimes) was far more compliant.
I'm sure our Bolton friend UKIP will inform you I have now come home to die, so no longer concern myself with lesson plans since I have entered my second childhood and attach great store watching Bill&Ben and East Enders. I have merely just had a rare lucid moment...uh-oh
You might try a UK proxy server..

But very soon I believe people are going to have to register to look at BBC Iplayer etc., and that means you'll have to have a UK address which has a BBC Licence attached to it - and I bet that also stuffs up using a proxy server (maybe)
Or maybe use Tails https://tails.boum.org/install/win/usb/index.en.html which has the TOR browser..
