Get it cheaply - Teachers Discussion

Go cheap on training. Also, make sure it is at least 120 hours, with observed teaching. These aren't mutually exclusive. Cheaper programs are out there, and considering you will have to pay for your own flight to a program, well.....go cheap, cheap, cheap.

Don't worry about it; if you can utter a few sentences in English, you can get a job in Asia - especially China. Come on over and join the rest of the clowns who are doing a disservice to the students here.
Yeah, come on over, me welcome you.

Does anyone know anything about TESOL? - Teachers Discussion

It's a company that me and a friend were going to get our certification through, so that we could teach english in asia. Does anyone know how valid this company is?
It costs $600 for the courses and certification. I had a friend recently who paid $2000 for their certification, and they said that it's really unlikely that we would find a good company for only $600.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Ben
