The majority of FETs are male and single, I am guessing, because it is something people do when in a transition of life or when first starting out, thus they have not gotten married, yet. Roaming the world teaching English does not suit having a wife and kids at home while you work remotely.
I think that as China extends her reach, globally, that people who think they are getting away from things are going to be getting tracked down and brought to accountability for the things they have been doing. At least, we can hope so.

What helps these sexual deviants in their hunt for more flesh is the quality of their employment. They are temps with at best a one-year contract, often less than that.
Thus they are here, then gone, then somewhere else; when the discoveries are made - discoveries they no longer have to face together with their victims - they are doing their harm to others.
Of course, pedophiles exist elsewhere too, but temporary employment situations really appeal to opportunists and people of low character profiles.
