Re: one paint brush - Teachers Discussion

I know personally of a several male FTs who "date"
high school students. I have informed them that backhome they would brought up on crimnal charges.
I have seen men my age (53) dating college coeds
it apparently is not looked down upon. I see FTs that I would consider bums with Asian women who are smart nice looking and from good families and I wonder whats going to happen to her when he gets bored. I don't know. I'm no prude but it seems that something is out of balance.

Good day, Sheffield,

I have a feeling here, Sheffield, that you responded to the wrong thread, since I did not quite catch how your response connected to my comments. Maybe you meant to respond to the comments above mine.

You take care and a great day to you!

My, my, my. Some people get SOOOO defensive. Relax and untwist that knot in your shorts. All I'm saying is that we, as intelligent and responsible adults - of any sex, race, religion, color or creed -should do what we can to protect the CHILDREN. They are the VICTIMS!!! Do you agree or not?
And my sincerest apologies if my opinions do not meet your standards. I promise never to intrude on your space again. Hope you and yours have a wonderful day.

Re: one paint brush - Teachers Discussion

"Everyone is now talking about CANADIAN WHITE MALES. Should they be screened out of job applications? Should only Blacks, coloureds, native Americans get a job?"

Now that would be most ignorant, just as ignorant as the fact that blacks from around the world get blamed and stereotyped for every crime committed by blacks in America or elsewhere. And since this is already so prevalent, it was a relief to know that there was not another thing to add to the already negative and bigoted viewpoints. I think that was what Sheffield was getting at and what I was responding to.

There certainly is no celebration in this type of thing for anyone on a fundamental level - there could not be unless you are 'sick'.

And, maybe 'we should not be vigilantes', no, but Turnoi did not say that. He said we should hand over anyone that we know of that is perpetrating such crimes. That is not the same thing.

I ask you, would you turn your back if this was your child that was involved? And how would you feel if you knew that someone had known about it all along and had done nothing about it?

As for us 'not being our brother's keepers,' well let me just say....I would not want to live in your world - thats for sure.
