Hi,

My girlfriend and I are considering teaching at the Shenzhen Institute of Information Technology (SZIIT). This would be our first job teaching English, and I have noticed a couple of red flags that concern me and would love for someone to advise me or at least put me at eaze.

1. can anybody vouch for this school, or provide any sort of review? I have searched and found only 1 rather disconcerting review.

2. the school has requested that I get a travel visa, and they will take care of the z-visa when I arrive in Shenzhen and sign the contract:

"The contract will have to be signed in Shenzhen. So for now I suggest you two have your travel visas ready. When you reach Shenzhen and sign the contracts, the school will see to the Z visa applications for you."
