Re: Question??

In China, if foreigners' monthly wage go over than 4800 RMB, foreigners are required to pay their income taxes. In our school, our foreign teachers taxes are taken by the school. What we pay you are the net income you have every month. And after you fulfill your contract, you will have a clear proof document from the tax burea to show you have paid your tax.

Question??

Is there anyone out there paying tax on their salary? Does the employer have to pay tax on your salary? If so how much? I was just reading that foreigners living in China don't have to pay tax for yearly incomes of less than 120,000rmb. However, does the employer still need to pay tax on the salary as well?
