The problem is that the really dodgie characters are behind the scenes. We meet them once and then deal with the assistants whose salaries are only a fraction of ours and are promised a big new year bonus if the can royally deceive us.
I honestly thought it was going to be a good job and wanted them to think that I trusted them. I had been ok with a lower salary than advertised because I don't have a lot of experience in the area requested. But now I just wonder about what else may be in store later.
