Re: Board Game for ESL/EFL

Seriously Silverboy, have you had any training at all? Where do you come from saying warm-ups are unprofessional and inapropriate. Both CELTA and Trinity (certificates for teaching ADULTS) stress the importance of warm-ups in thier training, corporate retreats for companies also use games in order to build team work. Honestly show me a student young or old that doesn't like to start a class with a 10 minute game. Warm-ups relax the atmosphere and if planned well enough help students review what was taught in previous classes. It seems to me that you're throwing words around like unprofessional and inapropriate to hide behind your lack of creativity and your unwillingness to change.
