Re: I need Visa advice

hi Pinoy in china;

Well, I just made that statement in response to some of the many postings I've read here denigrating us. I don't actually intend to make an issue out of it, worst, create an uproar from those who may not agree . I hate arguing with other people. I just wish people could respect each other.

With regards to my visa, I was alerted to search for the latest visa rules,thanks to the other posters who gave me the infos, I've learned that there really are a lot of changes. In this regards, I had to ask my employer to work on all my documents now coz I want to go home as soon as my classes are over.

I've got an e-mail add but I can't post it here. I want to avoid spammers crowding my mailbox, I hope you understand.Give me your e-mail address then I'll be the one to connect with you,okey.

Re: I need Visa advice

Hello bgoinhom,

Yeah thats really true, not all Filipino teachers are cheap, we are also one among the dignified not only in other fields of specialization but specially in education entire the world. Regarding your visa, you better come back earlier or get the necessary documents and apply for a Z visa in the Philippines, to be sure that there will be no hassles on your part. I am also teaching in one of the universities here in Shandong province. Do you have ym id? so that we could chat...he he he he. I will be going home too this 2nd week of July, and be back after a two months vacation. San ka pala sa atin? Thanks

Re: I need Visa advice

Yup, from RP back to China. I'm coming back to the same school. I have already signed my new contract and have a copy of it. I'm also aware that it takes some time for all the paper works to renew my visa...from the medical exam to renewal of my Experts' certificate which makes me want to delay it until i'm back. But it seems everything has changed and nothing is sure now as to what their next moves would be (with regards to enrty), I'm rather inclined to renew my Z-visa before going home. My employer does eveything for me though, but this might delay my trip home a little.

And I just want to add, I've read a lot about crap schools/employers on this forum but should I say, there are plenty of good schools. My school is one of the bests. I have 4 months paid holiday in a year, good salary with 8 extra classes per week (paid , of course). I teach in one of the biggest universities with 11 NS FTs, respectable administrators, profficient Chinese English teachers and excellent students. It would be my third year . In short, not all Filipino FTs are cheap and are only offered the worst. I'm having the best times of my teaching career here in China.

Thanks.
