Re: I whole-heartedly agree!

Yes indeed, cmf, quite entertaining. I'm sure that sooner or later someone will compile a list of turnipisms accompanied by toddlerisms and choatleisms so that we needn't always come here for our daily laugh. I think it would work quite nicely as bathroom reading material, don't you? Why waste paper though? Just put it right there on the tp roll where it belongs. Alternating sheets for each of them. I've even thought of a title: "Incomprehensible Input - A Collection of Not So Witty Witticisms by Pretend EFL Teachers in Asia." But please, cmf, don't insult John Cleese by suggesting that he could be scripting for these guys - he'd never stoop that low.

Enjoy the sunny days of South France, Fred.

Re: I whole-heartedly agree!

James, If you believe that you can influence anything that the Turnip, Toddler or any of their gang write you are banging your head against a brick wall. The 'Zhang" obsession which inhabits the minds of these cretins, has now spread to include anyone who dares to question or attempts reason with them.

As to getting a rise out of 'the wise one', I have been doing that for a long time now. He bites so easily upon any crumb cast before him. The responses that result are so entertaining I haven't turned on my TV for a long time. Who needs CCTV when we have Channel Turnip ? It puts me so much in mind of Monty Python, I sometimes wonder if John Cleese is writing the scripts.
Thankfully the holidays are approaching and I shall be able to sit at home in the sun, (S.of France) reassured that the fun will continue on my return as they are quite irredeemable.

Re: I whole-heartedly agree!

Congratulations; you found one mistake in one of my hastily written posts. If I were to point out all of your mistakes, Turnoi, I'd be spending way too much time at my keyboard.

Now let me get something straight. You wrote:
"Have a guess who can be called "incompetent". Look in the mirror and you will see a face that is in business and not in real teaching."

What the hell does that mean? If I'm in business, I'm incompetent, but if I'm a real teacher, I can be called competent? Moreover, it seems as though you believe that one's face can be in business. That begs the question as to what the rest of the body is doing while the face is doing business.

The whole purpose of my post was to get a rise out of you. Mission accomplished. However, your reaction is a disappointment. That's the best you've got? Furthermore, if you believe that I'm a recruiter - your canned response to anyone who disagrees with you - you're way off the mark. Try to focus, Turnoi. Shake yourself free from those cobwebs that shroud your perceptions and limit your potential. It does not necessarily follow that because some people are sick of the manner in which you attack Zhang and all other recruiters that they themselves are recruiters.

I don't say this lightly, Turnoi. Show a little class. Unlike the Toddler, whose whole persona is one of classlessness, I actually believe that with a little effort you could pull it off.

There are things known and there are things unknown, and in between are the doors of perception
