you can only apply for an f-4 if one or both of your parents renounced their Korean citizenship and has become well in my case, an American citizen.

I was hoping someone could help me with my inquiry.
I've just received a job offer from a hagwon in Korea and am applying for an F4 visa.
However, both my parents are still Korean citizens and I was born in the US.
Is it true that I am not eligible for an F4 visa? Or is it possible that the hagwon might be able to pull some strings over at the Korea Consulate? The hagwon is fairly large so I'm sure that they have a good working relationship with the Korean Consulate.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers!
