I am well aware that China has enough people and doesn't particularly want any more, and I certainly don't think I have a 'right' to remain here

All I want to know is, under what circumstances is one able to stay in China? The business idea was simply a means to that end, are there other avenues? Or, to put it in your words, how do I earn the privilege.
