I have been teaching for three years in Jiangsu. ( very close to Shanghai )
In this province, any business- or tourist-visa can be still converted into a legal residence permit ( work-visa ) at a local police department.
You should contact a foreign teacher from Shanghai ASAP!
I have a job offer from Telfort Business Institute, Shanghai. I have a Bachelor's degree & a TEFL certificate. I am told by the Director to arrive on a F-visa (Business Visa) which they will get converted immediately into a work visa( Z-visa) & will also help me get a residence permit. I would like to know if conversion from F-visa to Z-visa is possible (that too during the Olympics) & also that I am from India.
If anyone has had an experience with Telfort kindly share it with me.
