I have never met Silverboy,but from what I've read on ESL, it's clear that some posters have given him a very hard time despite imho his honesty.
If he chooses to mention his great achievement at his university,that doesn't anger me.On the contrary,I'm pleased for him because in his particular circumstances I can understand why he did so.
By the way,I'd never start a thread titled 'So and so is a great teacher'as I don't think it's my position to do so.
I can't understand why what he has posted has angered you.I wonder if you are the kind of person who bears grudges.
