I have been researching places to obtain my TEFL certification in a Spanish-speaking country.
I recently decided on certification with The International TEFL Corporation in Manuel Antonio (Quepos). My goal is to do something different in my career, travel and learn Spanish.
I have a few questions:

1. Is a TEFL certificate from one center better than another (i.e. International TEFL Corporation vs. TEFL Institute)?

2. I have heard mixed reviews on Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica. Has anyone ever been?
Can anyone recommend other beautiful locations (perhaps beach locales)?
