Hi! I am doing a certificate in TESOL through a joint program offered both online and "on land" through Seattle University and the School of Teaching ESL. I recommend that you check it out. It is a solid program with a great reputation. I am doing it online and, like you, already have an MA in a related field.

Did any of you receive your certification from an on-line school? I have an MA degree in English and have taught literature and composition on the community college level (and a year or so ESL but my ESL was during grad school)did not get certified to do it..Now I am looking at teaching in Saudi and they require a TESL/TEFL certificate in addition to the MA..I saw some schools online and wondered if.. a. they were worth the $$$, b. legitimate? any recommendations out there from any ESL teachers who used an online school would be greatly appreciated...
