Re: Question about my visa, 30 day stay

The day you enter counts as your first day of your 30 days. You have 30 days, including that day,to stay in China. If you entered on the 13th of November, you will have used up 18 days up to and including the 30th of November. You must therefore exit before midnight Chinese time on the 12th of December, so as not to overstay your visa and face a fine of 500 Yuan/day of overstay,up to a maximum of 5000 Yuan if you uverstayed 10 days or longer.

Question about my visa, 30 day stay

This is a simple question. I have a 30 day visa. I entered China again on the 13th, which gives me 30 days to exit. My question is, when does the clock start ticking. Do they count the day you come back in as a day, or the space of time between the 13 and the 14th as a day. If the 13th to the 14th than I must leave again by the 13th. If they count the 13th as one day itself, I must exit again by the 12th. It's all a little confusing, but a simple enough question, so I hope someone out there can answer it for me. Thanks.
