Grammar is a set of norms, things which actually exist. Yes, one may question norms in colorful discoursese until one's bellybutton collapses. During the past fifty years, theorists from Foucault to Chomsky have completely obfuscated the intent and terminology of language (and its usage) to the point that discussions of it become mere exchanges of hollow academic jargon. The same can be said of deconstructionism.

But this isn't the place for such discussions.
