Many job offers on mainland, that are about teaching oral English, and that call for a "foreign expert" where local teachers teach the rest of the language, are jokes. It's like playing tennis with someone that does not know what a breakpoint means and that cannot use either forehand or backhand appropriately and then cannot serve at all. I've seen a few eager tennis players that've ended up with their tennis elbows out of the game quickly..never could've returned to the court at all. I mean learning the language fundamentals inappropriately may and usually does result in grave accidents too.
