Well, I am sure you know as any would that Chinese are big on presentation. So going around wearing ties and suits may actually get you labeled as a "good teacher", depending on the school. Even if your teaching is pretty bad but you look good, you can get away with it. Most schools don't hire foreigners for their teaching skills but on their looks and how well they can be marketed. Am I wrong?
