Yes, those are exactly the types of jobs I had in mind when I decided to study Mandarin. Precision in language is key, especially in Engineering, and often they may just nod or say "ok" when they really don't fully understand. I think it's also very, very nice for management, QC, or marketing to have someone that does business the western way that can directly relate things to local engineers. These jobs exist but most of the ones I have found so far require 5-10 years experience. In the meantime, I will work on my language skills and keep looking.
