In their Chinglish courses, they also seem to make use of that special Oxford English Dictionary referred to in another post - they have spellings like "heresay" for "hearsay" there, and other things.

Well, I do have my doubts and would reassert that there is no good reason whatsoever to withhold any part of the pay the owe to foreign teachers. Any "school" doing that admits they have had a problem in the past and that they are not in control of the situation. It's clearly not an advertisement for them and does not work in favour of their reputation. A very unprofessional thing to do anyway....

Next, it is important to ask - why did teachers stop turning up, take another job or decided to leave China without a word? Is it because of their system that consists of messing up students and teacher assignments, is it because of students censoring the teacher according to whether they like him or not? Or what else?

It's a crazy system anyway that does not serve any other purpose to find all kinds of excuses to deduct amounts from the FT's salaries, and quite understandably, there are many people doing a runner. Who would really want to work in such a system if there many, much better jobs around? Why wasting your time at Crappy Hamster/Hampson English?

With all the teachers leaving or stop turning up again, crappy Hamster/Hampson English definitely gets what they do deserve!

Sorry to pick on your post as an example, it's just after reading through some of the posts here, all those commenting on bad grammar and spelling have made exactly the same error. So it seems everyone is in good company and pointing it out is, well, academic........
