Ah, but it's when we are not looking for something that we generally find it. I can't tell you how many times I try to find a thing, and can not, yet when I am not looking for it, poof, there is it. I think love is often the same way. That's not to say you can't find it if you go out struggling to, but this seems to be the exception, not the rule.

As for your marriage in the past that did not work out, maybe that's why you don't like Australian women.

I think there might be some deeper rooted problems here than a simple "preference" for one type of women or another.
