Better to marry an educated, financially secure woman who can support herself in my opinion. In China most men don't like over 30's professional career women. Even less so if they are divorced ( used goods) That stupid "must marry a young virgin" mentality Chinese men have.

Agreed. you have hit the nail on the head here. Most Chinese men seem to fear these kind of women. But then I tend to think most Chinese men are utter scumbags who just prey on the young girls with offers of holidays and lavish hotels and generous amounts of renminbi in the expectation she will sleep with them, the sad part is, a lot will do just that.

I now regret passing up a couple of chances with a 34 or 39 year old, who weren't bad looking at all, esp. when the younger 20 somethings are nothing but headache material.
