This is not surprising, it means that the complaints about franchises such as Aston being posted online are making a difference, and the school, if you can call it that, is having a much harder time finding students it seems. This is good news all round. When one of the major share holders, owners of a crap English training centers starts doing his or her own recruiting to fill vacant jobs, it means that sites such as this one are making a difference for the better. Now maybe Aston will clean up their act, and start treating FT's better. Unlikely.
This also might mean that recruiters over all are having less success finding teachers, period. That would be great, as a lot of the problems out there are caused by dishonest recruiters acting as middle men, when such is absolutely not needed.
Let's hope other schools such as EF also start having problems filling their vacancies, and that word gets out that China is not a very good place to work. Maybe things will get dry enough in regards to finding FT's that more schools will clean up their act to attract them. Far fetched I know, but everyone can dream

Turnoi is absolutely correct in his assumption of whom Madame Wendy actually is.
She masquerades as an agent, like the many that there are in China, as she recruits for Aston, but actually, she is either Hebei or Hubei or Anhui Province, I don't remember now which one of the three, and in the end, she is one of the part-owners for many of the Aston franchises. Applicants should using her services should exercise due caution because while she will appear to recruit the applicant for "other" jobs, in the end, the "other" jobs will all be filled (bait-and-switch) and the applicant will be steered to some of the remote Aston locations/franchises.
