JohnESL, as far as I know foreign teachers "never" get paid sick days. I have never had them, and I've never known anyone who has. You miss work, you don't get paid for that time. This is my experience, contract or no, and good luck trying to get paid for it. If you are able to, more power to you.

Paid Sick Days
So I was recently under the weather one day and had to miss my classes.
My contract states that my paid sick days are in regulation with Chinese laws.
Is there a basic Chinese standard of sick days as a reference point?
