The other fly in the ointment is China doesn't want us white guys after we get past a certain age, alas.

You can marry a Chinese woman and get a 5 year dependent visa. But it doesn't allow you to do business or work, what kind of bs is that?

Couple the fact wages aren't going up, living costs increasing, and the woman are becoming more fickle, I'd say China has gone past it's premium for most foreign guys teaching there.

When I was there in 2004, I loved it. More than enough money coming in to have a great lifestyle, things were cheap, girls were friendly and in abundance...now I'm not so sure if it is worth it, or would be the same?
