Hi Folks,

It's some time since I looked for another job here in China - about 2 years in fact. Can anyone please tell me about the following

1) Is the age limit still being applied? The last time there was talk of it quietly dying a peaceful death. My present employer has had my services for over two years and has no trouble with visa renewals and I am currently 68.

2) Is the requirement for a degree still being ferociously applied too? I have worked in China for 7 years straight with just a copy of my British Certificate of Secondary Eduication (issued back in 1962) and that has never raised any comment at all.

I'm finishing my present job this coming summer and I'm tossing up in my mind whether to stay where I am for another year, or try finding another job, or call it a day and go home to the UK

Any advice would be appreciated.
