You don't want to work at Huijia I can tell you that for sure. Many teachers here are watching the calendar for July. Place this dung hole on the top ten worst ever in China.
Visa office lackeys...dont follow you my boy?
The Beijing Huijia Private School does not have any face left at this point and certainly no credibility. Foreign teachers need to cover each other in this country.
But they're their own worst enemies. I look down on them as a motley crew of self-serving, naive, oneupmanship shills, who smile at the Chinese whilst backstabbing their foreign colleagues. No wonder the Chinese think we're out of our minds! I'm glad to be in a county, the fewer foreigners I meet in China, the better, and that goes for visa office lackeys too - they're just as bad!
That school is really a bad school. Working here for the Chang Ping School District anyone that lives up here knows that the Beijing Huijia Private School has a nasty reputation. They would lie when the truth sounded better. The recruiter that you cited on your post is a real joker. He is worse than the infamous Frank Zhang. If you want a real job there are so many other schools in Beijing that it is hard to imagine. No one needs to be put into a pig pen like the Beijing Huijia Private School. Don't talk to recruiters, any of them. They are all rubbish and they don't know the market or their own jobs and schools like Huijia are a dime a dozen in China. Stay out of the private schools. Most of them are really bad. How bad must things really be when they need to resort to posting job ads on Web sites like Craig's List anyway? That's a place to post ads to make a booty call or sell a lawn mower. The Beijing Huijia Private School does not have any face left at this point and certainly no credibility. Foreign teachers need to cover each other in this country.
You're wrong about one thing. They are still using recruiters or they are trying to anyway. Mr. Zhang is a real piece of work. He uses many different email addresses to snare FT's and try and hook them into a bad school like Huijia.
Here is his mobile number: Mr. Zhang: 15810764659
He also uses this email address for posting jobs: chinaemployment@yahoo.com.cn
Of course you also found his magic mushroom or magic kingdom or middle kingdom address as well.
Real recruiters have the same address, the same Web site and same email address for years. They don't need to hide. Bad schools have a lot to hide as do bad recruiters. In this case, it is a perfect match. A bad school and a bad recruiter. They deserve each other.
That guy, just like Huijia are jokes in education.
Good work Crap School Spotter.
Scanning around for more [edited] schools, I pulled this little number from Graigslist.com This time it is the Beijing Huijia Private School once again trying to conceal their identity but not a recruiter this time, since no recruiters will touch them with a ten foot pole, but now it is the same [edited] school using a cover email address. magic_kindergarten@yahoo.com.cn Based on this ad, it looks as if they are loosing teachers from every department. Check out the ad carefully and note the job description and the location. They still claim that they have students from 28 countries too. The poster cannot spell the word teachers which is also a tell tale sign of what you would be dealing with there.
Here is a word of caution, if you see any job in the Chang Ping District it is most likely that same [edited] school.
Would any respectable and true international school hide behind the magic kindergarten email address? They claim they have students from 28 nations and yet their business name is a secret. LOL!!!! Too funny.
