Dear Turnoi,
Wuxi is like an upper middle class suburb of a suburb of Suzhou which itself is just a satellite of Shanghai.
Lots and lots of new developments, lots and lots of building, a no-downtown downtown, not much of a feel of a city. It is very, very clean and it is very, very prosperous for a fact. It is on the major north-south east-west rail line so lots of train connections.
The usual amount of upper-end market Western stores plus Walmart, Metro, etc,. etc.
The closest thing to a prosperous, well-scrubbed, tidy Swiss-like city that you will find in China but decidedly soul-less, boring and just so suburban.
All-in-all, however, if you are a suburban-type and like lots of wide boulevards, and a fresh-scrubbed look, then Wuxi is for you.

And so many international schools and so, so many schools that hire foreigners. Very, very hot humid summers and relatively damp and moderately cold winters. Not a bad climate, really.
