Re: Teaching in China?

You are spot on with the Canadians. For that I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Too many Da-shan wannabes in china who think they're promoting "culture" and "education". Nothing but a bunch of anti-social troublemakers.

Re: Teaching in China?

Canadian and New Zealand people are by far the most horrible and stingy ones I have ever met. Usually they are the worst GW types,

I agree on the Canadian part, they are bigtime GW's in education, and will sell out easily, whether it is arabs or chinese or whoever. I really don't understand that, at all!!

I have met good kiwis who haven't scrounged off me, and in fact have been generous to a fault, with one even putting my pommy ass up for a while!

Personally, as a pom, I find it easier to get on with aussies/kiwis due to the shared cultural/historic traits and in most cases aussie slang and english slang being so similar. Much easier than canadians with their mixed french and english history, and in most cases, a lot of undue arrogance!
