If anything, the "5,000 years" mantra should be brought out with caution as it's become a tired dogma of supposed "culture" that the chinese really don't have. What are you going to tell me? That there's been 5,000 years of McDonalds, KFC, and blue jeans? C'mon. People in China need to create and inspire each other through self responsibility, courage, and putting action into words instead of hiding behind false pretenses and fake beacons of "hope" that emasculate and lead them nowhere.
