Different cultures...different levels of choices!

Exactly. It's a pity that most Chinese, and many louwai in China are completely unaware of this. That's why there are so many misunderstandings and confrontations between members of the two cultures, namely Chinese and Western, here in China! Any westerner teaching here should realize and face the facts - he (or she) has immersed himself (or herself) in a culture that tolerates dishonesty and where there can be no rule of law. Those westerners here who can't stomach this would do themselves a favor by getting out of the country. I for one can stomach it, so I stay.
