Maybe you are a nice woman, and I am totally wrong about you.

But asian girls always trot out this line,,,but it doesn't wash, Indepedent means I get my own money, and what my bf/husband can give me is extra!

Truly revolting!

Re: Hackneyed subject

Start by rejecting your materialist money obsessed lifestyle, change comes
from within? Can you and will you find it in your heart to do that though???

Are these questions addressed to me personally?
Well, I tell you what, I DO NOT need to change anything in ME. I will stay
as I am. I was never/am not obsessed with fancy things there are in this
world that are far beyond what I can afford. I am contented with what I have.
I never dreamed having a rich boyfriend, to be dated in fancy restaurants,
to be driven on luxury cars, to be given expensive gifts. I never made
poverty an excuse for cheating others. We were raised to be independent
individuals. Having a principled father (rest in peace, papa) taught us
to always follow life's right track.

I know you were hurt by a filipina, are we not all hurt at times
in our lives? I was hurt, cheated by an Australian man, did I show any
indifference to the rest of them? No. Did I launch a bitter diatribe
against men particularly Australians?No.
It is nous - plain and simple.

And if you want to see the person that I am, I am ready for a face to
face encounter with you. I assure you , I can look at you straight in the
eyes.

Have a nice day!

Re: Guangdong

Well I am just set to come back from HK after a visa run, and have had the chance to observe the behaviour of the filipinas there yet again...and I still remain far from impressed!

Re: Guangdong

You may say whatever you want to say, how do we call that? freedom
of speech? but oh [edited], truth hurts, I am not hurt, therefore it's not
the truth...how I loved my philosophy 101 subject back in my university
days.

We are out of the thread topic, how about starting one with the
title "teacher's word war corner", what do you think, dearie?
