If a school doesn't give two hoots over who they are employing (that's not meant as an insult) then what else don't they care about?
Probably some or all of the following
Paying you
Giving you decent accomodation
Sorting out a visa
Supporting you professionally
Adhering to the contract
etc., etc.

I just applied for what seemed like a good ESL job and, after sending my initial inquiry letter with a resume attached, I got an e-mail saying that I was hired. Is this normal for a school to hire somebody without talking to them first? should I be worried about this position?
