Re: Thailand

I hear ya, after just seeing a motorbike accident outside and with the usual crowd of gawking onlookers, but noone lifting a finger to help, and then witnessing a dog being savagely beaten to death, I am getting to that point.

Even HK/Macau would be a change.

Re: Thailand

Yes there seems to be a lot of work available in Thailand and I know many people who have been there for a holiday and I have not heard a bad word about the place.

I just need a change of scenery.

Re: Thailand

I would also be interested to know more.

From hearing of people who have taught there, I have heard positive stuff, just the negatives I heard were lazy students, so not much difference from China then, lol.

1 thing to bear in mind is thais like "sanuk" or fun, as long as you are friendly and funny in class you will be fine, I guess.

Thailand

Hello all

I am considering going to work in Thailand and I was wondering what are other teachers thoughts on the matter.
Have you been there?
Have you worked there?
What was your impression and experience?
Would you recommend working there?

Anything else you would like to share would be appreciated.
