Not a fare statement to state that "anybody can post anything on the internet" in the same sentence with John DeFrancis ,... he was a respected scolar .. yes his views might have been chalenged but answer me this ,,,,, what serious scolar , who is publeshing regularly and seriously in peer - re-viewed jurnals ,, does not get chalenged ? you are suposed to get chalenged and if you are not , either you are not publeshing or else no one cares what you have to say ,, this is the way acadamia works ,,, people make there livings chalenging each other and tossing around ideas .. in phrasing things the way you did ,,,, i do not think you were bein fare ,,,,, kind of a dirty move if you ask me , and not intelectully honest ..
