Warning: This place is poorly run by hot-tempered Jordanians and Iraqis - they have hired many, many new American teachers; word to the wise: Stay away. They are not ready for teachers with their own ideas and opinions. You will be silenced. Housing is hard to find, absolutely nothing to do, unless you like goats, sand and poorly prepared Indian vittles. Find another job, work at a fast food restaurant, juggle on street corners, but do not teach ESL at A'sharqiyah University - students are the worst college age kids, I've encountered in Middle East.
