Would you consider her a GW if she began to wear a hijab to cover her hair? Or a man who refrained from drinking whilst living for a year in Qatar?

Absolutely yes. And I know many females in the gulf who are just the same [edited]

Why should we change just because we move abroad? No, we shouldn't!!

Does that mean you refuse to take your shoes off when you go in a Japanese or Thai person's house? Do you deliberately go around offending other people's customs. So, if some Chinese people were to come to your home town and start spitting on the floor in a restaurant, and playing loud drinking games, and smoking, that's be cool with you because they shouldn't change or respect other people's customs?
