Re: TEFLing in thailand

Try Nepal. for a change. It is much more relaxed than China. no age restrictions, it's easy to get into the country (visa at the airport in Kathmandu for 30 USD cash, then change to a working and residence permit from inside the country), and there is no tradition of cheat towards foreign teachers. No blocking of Facebook or other services.
I don't know anything about Thailand, though, have never been there.

Now there's food for thought.........no age limit you say.

I've never used facebook or twitter; always seems like self-indulgent bilge for the moronic masses-chatting on this site has got to be more interesting, informative and sometimes pretty dramatic.

Thailand is a comfy place for foreigners (apart from the enervating climate) and you can watch BBC on the goggle-box.

Come to think about it, if you're not there yet, Turnoi, they could give you grief with your crocs, they might have to go into quarantine for six months. Do crocodiles get rabies?

Have a good weekend.
