Re: Teaching in Vietnam

Hi people, I've been out of the ESL business for a couple of years (China ''did for me'') but I'm thinking of returning to teaching again.
I'm somewhat interested in trying Vietnam and was just wondering if anyone has any help/advice about working in the country as I've only visited as a tourist/ traveller before.

Any help would be great, thanks in advance.

I've been waiting for one of the experts to answer, but not yet, so I thought I'd get the ball rolling which may encourage an expert to respond.

I know that Western style bread is readily available, which would be a consideration for me to live anywhere. In China as you know batons of bread in supermarkets is often rock hard.

I would google all the permutations of "Wots it like to teach English in Vietnam" Like this link for instance http://mystorylives.blogspot.co.uk/2009/10/american-teachers-in-vietnam.html

Good luck
