Because of dollars and sense - ESL discussion

US economy: 10 Trillion USD
# of English speakers (L1)worldwide: 1.2 Billion (at least) counting India.

It only makes sense to learn English before learning French. Learning English will allow me to go all over the world and work. Learning French will allow me to go work in Montreal. Oh boy.

nope.... - ESL discussion

I like Spanish, and I prefer it over French.

But, the Chinese want to learn 1. English, 2. French, 3. Japanese, 4. German.

So, you won't find much demand at all for Spanish unfortunately.....

only at Berlitz Training Centres they teach many other languages
