You are quite right with what you are saying; however, they aren't professionals. Moreover, and aside the fact that western media are so much freer, there's a better chance with their legal battle there than there would be in, say for example China.

Here is a news article from Canada of how employers also rip off their foreign workers much like what happens to foreign English teachers in other countries of the world. Greed and the almighty $$$ is what drives it all. Sad.
