The Chinese attitudes and lack of respect for life ( both human and animal ) will rub off on your child, and he/she will become a desensitised and greedy/uncaring individual in the future.

I have actually seen this happen to some long term western GW's in China. They become convinced the west is worse than China, and that China is the future (whatever future that is meant to be). They will defend to the hilt China or being a sell out even just for an extra 1000 rmb. They are really sad individuals.
