Korea - ESL discussion *Link*

I can only speak for Korea but if you don't have a passport from a USA/Can/Aust/NZ/South Africa/UK your chances or getting a work visa for teaching are neglible. That said, many do work illegally in Korea

Non-native speaker in Korea or Japan? - ESL discussion

I'm a Chemistry graduate and TEFL certified black non-native speaker.I've been teaching Chemistry and English for the past 5 years.

I'm presently teaching English in China and have been here for 18 months.

Can anyone tell me my chances to teach Chemistry or English in South Korea or Japan. I don't mind to teach in small cities provided I can land a job there. Cheerio guys.
