I have the Windows version of the software, and it works perfectly fine on my laptop. Know nothing about the non-Windows versions, sorry!

I'm sure the Windows one works okay. The operating system I am using at the moment is a new installation-it would be that when I fully install'wine' that will do the trick. Cheers.
