Hi Pac Man. I do think you need to be careful if this is a private company. But I understand that due to the employment situations in the west some folks need to find work. Companies who have changed their names due to bad behavior in the past will still get called out on sooner rather than later. Vietnam has received less negative reviews than China on this board. Have you tried www.eslteachersunited.org? They have one of the most comprehensive archives of places you need to avoid.

Perhaps you can register on the site and contact the 3 people personally by email who had posted their respective reviews. I think that is the best way to find out for yourself if you really should go or not.

Now there will be some people who will tell you a couple of negative reviews shouldn't deter you from trying the experience. But you need to take a look at how new the posts were. Another criteria would be to see if this company is always looking for teachers. If they are always hiring but not expanding (which I did not find on their website which is http://shelton.edu.vn/english/) you also need to take that as a red flag. Good luck.
