Re: China: The Basics of Evaluating a Chinese Employment Contract

Excellent post San Migs. Let's hope more and more people wake up and smell the roses. Opportunities and wealth by unscrupulous means are given only to a few, while the masses suffer. To try and think you're entitled to be one of the few is an indictment on yourself, which will get you plenty of backlash whether it's karma or depending on your beliefs maybe from a higher power.

Re: China: The Basics of Evaluating a Chinese Employment Contract

Again, surely this can be put down to the individualistic nature of western societies, where the individual as a person does not exist, nor have the same rights under the all encompassing scope of confucianism? The UK, Australia, Canada and the USA all operate by rule of law, not rule BY law. When only a few at the top have power which they can distribute as they see fit to anyone beneath them, as opposed to everyone being equal BEFORE the law, things will never change. Granted, rule of law is imperfect, but is rule BY law any more of an improvement?

HMMMMMMMM????????
